The 4180 Series Precision Infrared Calibrators, designed for infrared thermometers and cameras, are fast, accurate and easy to use. They include certified calibration from one of the world’s most trusted temperature-calibration laboratories, built-in standard procedures for calibrating Fluke thermometers, and everything needed to begin performing high-quality infrared thermometer calibrations. These calibrators are therefore an ideal solution for any infrared thermometer or camera within their temperature range.
The 4180 Series operates from -15°C to 120°C, while the 4181 Series covers 35°C to 500°C. Uniformity is critical in infrared temperature calibration because an infrared thermometer “sees” the entire target when positioned at the correct calibration distance.
In addition, with accuracy of ±0.35°C, the 4180 Series requires no additional emissivity corrections and therefore provides 4:1 test uncertainty ratios.
