EDDYTHERM 2x

The EDDYTHERM 2x handles workpieces and bearings weighing up to 80 kg (176 lb). They can be induction-heated to 240°C (465°F). Available power options: 200–575 V at 50/60 Hz.

How does induction heating work? In just a few minutes, bearings are safely preheated by induction so they expand and slide easily onto the shaft. After cooling, the bearing returns to its original size, ensuring the required interference fit. Induction heating preserves all material tolerances and properties without loss. No further operation is required. EDDYTHERM is a safe induction heater for bearings that heats only the workpiece, not the tool itself.
