Sometimes it is not possible to ground the operator or completely eliminate insulating materials from the protected area. In these situations, ionization is the solution for neutralizing generated static charges.

The system saturates the air in the protected area with positive and negative ions. When ionized air comes into contact with a charged surface, that surface attracts ions of the opposite polarity, neutralizing the static electricity that has built up on objects.

Ionization also helps to:

• Remove smoke, pollen, and other microparticles

• Improve operator well-being

• Maintain a healthier work environment

SIMCO-ION devices generate very little ozone (<0.002 ppm), well below safety standards allowing up to 0.1 ppm.
