Most of our extraction hoods operate in two configurations:
1- External exhaust
In this configuration, a 125 mm diameter collar is provided at the rear of the unit to attach a duct. Connected to the outside of the building or room where pollutants are emitted, it channels and
exhausts them.
For safety reasons, we recommend installing a dust filter (ref. FPP1) in the unit to protect the fan from fouling or blockage caused by a falling or suctioned object that could jam it or damage the blades.
2- Recirculation into the work area after filtration
When the filtration option is selected, the pollutants to be captured must be identified in order to choose the appropriate filter.
This choice depends on:
– The type of pollutant (vapors, dust, etc.)
– The emitted concentration
– Its ability to be adsorbed by the filter
– The required filter replacement frequency
