ALPHA® Vaculoy SAC300, SAC305, SAC400, SAC405: High-Purity Lead-Free Solder Alloys
The ALPHA® Vaculoy series SAC300, SAC305, SAC400 and SAC405 are lead-free solder alloys specially formulated to effectively replace traditional Sn63Pb37. These SAC alloys are used in wave-soldering processes to stabilize and reduce the copper content of the solder bath, depending on process requirements and thermal conditions.
Manufactured using the proprietary Vaculoy process, these alloys undergo advanced purification that removes impurities, oxides and metallic inclusions, significantly reducing soldering defects. This technology produces purer, more stable solder suitable for production lines requiring consistent quality.
Variants such as SAC387, SAC350 and SAC380 provide optimized alternatives for a wide range of electronics applications, ensuring excellent wettability and good mechanical strength and long-term reliability.
