SMD Stencil

An SMD stencil is a high-precision tool used to apply solder paste or adhesive onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) designed for surface-mounted components (or Surface Mounted Devices in English).

Typically made from a metal sheet, such as stainless steel, nickel or other technical materials, the SMD stencil is laser-cut to create highly precise openings. These openings deposit paste only on the targeted PCB pads corresponding to component connection points.

The stencil openings faithfully replicate the layout of the PCB connection pads, ensuring optimal paste placement and volume for reliable soldering of SMD components.
